Due to a water issue with the floor, tonight’s games at the Showers Center are postponed.  We will re-schedule them at a later time and play 2 games that week.  We need to confirm gym schedules before re-scheduling these games.  These are the games that are postponed at the Showers Center:

The 1st year of our MINI-League on Sunday afternoons starts up August 24, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.  This is a Sunday afternoon only league for 3-4-5 graders.  It will be a 75 minute session.  The first segment will be Fundamental Skill Development and the 2nd segment will be games of 3/3, 4/4, 5/5.  For more info – use the link below.

Tonight (8/12/14) is our Middle School – Team Placement workout.  It starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Richard Showers Center on Blue Spring Rd.  This workout is for any middle school player who wants to be on a team in the ABA Fall League.

Games will start up next week.  For more information – use the programs/clinics tab on our ABA home page and scroll to the fall descriptions.

We are excited about the start of our ABA Fall Basketball Leagues.  Our High School League will be in the 2nd year and we will have a Middle School League for the first time.  2013’s Fall League was a big success and we expect to have more interest this year.  The HS League will be compliant with the AHSAA 50% rule – no more than 3 players from one school on the same team.  The MS League does not follow the 50% rule.  Thus, we are looking for schools to put their FULL TEAMS in the Fall league.  The only requirement is that the team is not allowed to be coached by the head coach or any assistant coaches affiliated with the school.  We will also have mixed teams in the MS League for those players who choose to play with no school affiliation.
